013 - Secret Circus

No more funny. There are a number of crime novels and thrillers in which killers in clown costumes cause mischief. And there are also knife throwers with criminal intentions. Also: There are many circus films. Moviegoers and thriller readers have long known that the world of secret services is a very special arena without a large audience or glaring spotlights, in which undercover actors sometimes play a game of life and death.

In this motif, Ralf Schellen works with two strong signal elements for a story that the viewer can continue to spin: On the one hand, from the aerial drone perspective, we see the construction of a circus tent with its entourage of wagons around it. On the other hand, this panorama that promises entertainment is a big digital alarm signal of an impending catastrophe. The countdown is running down. Can a super agent stop the drama at the last second and maybe save the world again? An MI6 spezi is said to have already managed something like that. The Spy Girl poses as a pop art model, statuesque in the middle of the motif. Free of any text waste. Because unlike villainous film personnel, this grace probably has nothing to hide. Or, on the contrary, is she perhaps (un)dressed to kill?
