A motif of reduction. What is visible only provides some evidence of a mysterious event. In the center of the minimalist photo composition we see an erotic female figure in the striking pose of a sculpture. The spectrum of colors is also minimized, to a few values such as silvery white and gray and the even more prominent red of the fluttering ribbon. What does it stand for? For a criminal gang that secretly identifies itself by wearing special finger rings? For (torn) family ties? For tapes that close off something mysterious or show the way? For blood that flows?

And there is also the dark shadow sphere in the picture. What meaning does the symbol on the ring signal? With this motif, Ralf Schellen also gives the viewer the exciting puzzle of inventing their own spy story based on the ciphers shown. Or, who knows, remembering films in which such ciphers might have played a role?

The printout is made on “aluminium composite”. Thanks to the latest generation of UV direct printing with 7 colors including light colors, the matt surface of the aluminum composite shines in absolutely rich colors and subtleties are displayed in high resolution down to the last detail. The pictures come with a pre-assembled profile suspension and are approximately 1 cm away from the wall. This gives your mural a floating look.

NOTE: The pictures of the "Spy Art Edition" are also offered in high-quality acrylic version in museum/gallery quality up to a size of 90x160 cm via the "Galerie Heidefeld und Partner" in Krefeld.
