... and here is my top topic for the 23rd week of 2024, artistically implemented. New every Sunday.

This week, the Israeli army managed to free four hostages from the clutches of Hamas terrorists: from hell back to life.

I hope that all the other hostages will be released soon and that the war will finally come to an end.

Captivity must be a horror for the victims - everything is unreal and a surreal situation. For this reason, the picture is constructed abstractly and the colors are dark and like those from a horror film. In contrast, however, there is an exit behind which the sun is shining. Here (in contrast to the surrealist trauma) a realistic landscape of palm trees can be seen, into which the freed people were able to return. The disharmony between the colors - the blood red and the sunny yellow - is intentional in order to strengthen the contrast and thus the message.
