How do we face change in general and in particular? Do we close our eyes and become defensive? Or do we see change as an opportunity? The answer is very individual and personal.

To express this, I chose an anonymous nude picture of a single person for the depiction. The person seems to be hiding under your hair. Her posture expresses defense and desperation.

In addition, the 16:9 format and the cinematic coloring are reminiscent of a (cinema) film: change is never static, but rather happens and affects us. The person is placed in the middle, in the present.

Change takes place “in the head” when we deal with things rationally - in the picture the lighter arms lead the eye to the head.

For me, the slightly desaturated color symbolizes the loss of strength that every “change” brings with it. The image wasn't sharpened much - a sharp image would contradict the idea of clarity in my opinion.

When I was creating it, I had major changes in mind, such as climate change or the impact of current wars on my own life. But even small, very personal changes can cause problems for us.

Limited edition: 5 copies

Print:

Printed on high-quality aluminum composite.
Thanks to the latest generation of UV direct printing with 7 colors including "light colors", the matt surface of the aluminum composite shines in absolutely rich colors and subtleties are displayed in high resolution down to the last detail.

The pictures come with a pre-assembled profile suspension and are approximately 1 cm away from the wall. This gives your mural a floating look.

Shipment

All images are usually printed directly after ordering. If an external printing service provider is involved in the creation, the delivery time can increase to up to 2 weeks.

Delivery is free of charge.

Treatment & Care

The print is applied with high quality ink on high quality art paper. To ensure longevity, the image should be protected from direct sunlight.

It is recommended that you only touch the pictures with gloves.

Only pictures made of acrylic glass can be cleaned with a clean, damp cloth without pressure.

Never expose unprotected prints to water. This destroys the surface.
