Week 06/2024 blocked

In the USA, Democrats and Republicans have been blocking each other on foreign and domestic policy for months now and seem unable to act in at least some areas, for example with regard to support for Ukraine.

What is Europe doing? To what extent are we affected by the blockade? Are we an alternative - or are we hiding behind the USA and are also unable to act?

The powerful American Golden Eagle thwarted and behind bars. “Red” for the Republicans and “Blue” for the Democrats symbolically oppose each other as the cause of this. Europe is simplified and blurred by the EU stars in the background. Ruins can be seen in the Republican area - a direct allusion to the blocking of aid to Ukraine.
