KW36/2024 Heat
KW36/2024 Heat
... and here is my top topic for week 36 of 2024, artistically implemented. New every Sunday.
This week it was announced that we will have (unfortunately once again) the hottest summer on record in 2024. The current year is also heading for a record high.
On the other hand, car manufacturers are cancelling their e-car conversion goals, such as Volvo, which originally wanted to switch to fully electric cars by 2030.
I am convinced that we as a society are not really taking this issue seriously enough.
The implementation in my picture is kept simple. Dryness, heat and desert are symbols of global warming. The vegetation is dried up. The light is reminiscent of a sun, only this time the heat comes from us humans or, due to our fault, cannot be radiated into space.
This picture is part of my weekly ARTblog on Instagram , in which I discuss current topics from the past week that are close to my heart. I make no claim to have the "ultimate, correct opinion" but simply present my view in artistic form.

Treatment & Care
Treatment & Care
The print is applied with high quality ink on high quality art paper. To ensure longevity, the image should be protected from direct sunlight.
It is recommended that you only touch the pictures with gloves.
Only pictures made of acrylic glass can be cleaned with a clean, damp cloth without pressure.
Never expose unprotected prints to water. This destroys the surface.
