suffering
suffering
With “suffering” I present another “political” work. With this work I process the suffering and the toll of blood that the Ukrainian people have to pay in the Russian war of aggression. This affects me personally very much and I could cry. I then implemented this impulse in a picture.
The picture is constructed very simply. Two drops are shown against a simple background. The drops could be tears, blood, or both.
The colors are reminiscent of the Ukrainian flag and create a connection. The lower part is deliberately kept darker: the drop could fall into this darkness; Everything just hangs on a thin ribbon.
The simple structure reduces grief to the essentials. While the image as a whole is more like a painting, the drop of blood was depicted very realistically. The war and suffering in Ukraine is real.
When creating the images, I also used AI as a tool to create the drops using my specifications. I then changed and added the image detail, shape, color and shadows in Photoshop.

Treatment & Care
Treatment & Care
The print is applied with high quality ink on high quality art paper. To ensure longevity, the image should be protected from direct sunlight.
It is recommended that you only touch the pictures with gloves.
Only pictures made of acrylic glass can be cleaned with a clean, damp cloth without pressure.
Never expose unprotected prints to water. This destroys the surface.
