Threat - 1
Threat - 1
The international threat is constantly growing - especially due to polarization caused by the Russian war of aggression. I now feel very unsettled by Russian propaganda and statements. It is very frustrating that the Cold War is in full swing again. I could no longer imagine this after the collapse of the Soviet Union. And NATO has also been revived, although it was already almost at the end of its political rope.Â
In order to address the conflict between "East/West", "war/peace" and ultimately "good/evil", I decided to use a black and white image. (In fact, the political grey of the past became a situation with clear positions.) At the same time, the large black area makes the image seem threatening. A minimal shade of blue reinforces the cold impression.
The person in the picture appears determined - but also very emotionless, ice cold and aloof. The chain around the neck is not a piece of jewelry but a military identification tag. It is also no coincidence that the person is looking to the left - from "east" towards "west".
More pictures on the subject follow. Therefore, the title is marked "- 1" as the first picture from the series.
