... and here is my top topic for the 21st week of 2024, artistically implemented. New every Sunday.

Last week, Iranian President Raisi's helicopter crashed. I immediately thought of "karma."

Karma means "action" or "deed" in Sanskrit. Every action, whether good or bad, has consequences that affect future life. The wheel shows that these actions have a repercussion.

For this reason, I have depicted the symbolic "wheel" often used for karma. The figures moving towards the circle/wheel represent all the souls killed by Raisi. The colors and shapes are reminiscent of "expressionism."

This picture is part of my weekly ARTblog on Instagram , in which I discuss current topics from the past week that are close to my heart. I make no claim to have the "ultimate, correct opinion" but simply present my view in artistic form.
