KW35/2024 Overdue

... and here is my top topic for the 35th week of 2024 artistically implemented. New every Sunday.

Don’t get me wrong, I am in favour of granting asylum and supporting refugees. But I have no understanding  when a plane carrying serious criminals (some with well over 100 crimes!) takes off only after months of preparation - and this is probably only because the pressure on politicians from the attack in Solingen has become too high. In my opinion, these criminals have no right to support or to stay in the EU. Asylum seekers and refugees also have an obligation to integrate and accept the laws; this is not just the sole responsibility of the receiving country.

Anyone who does not want to integrate should not come to a European country or is in my opinion out of place. The recognition of laws is an undeniable must.

Why do we in Germany always stand in our own way when it comes to implementing such repatriation measures? Why do we still give people €1,000 per person and why are we unable to adapt our laws to the changed realities?  I find it completely incomprehensible that politicians are so ignorant of the need to find pragmatic solutions. A stricter gun law will not solve the problem and is just a distraction.

It is also frustrating that the right-wing parties benefit from this... so why are the established Greens in particular unable to adjust their stance? I am sure that the bill will come in the next election and no convinced democrat will be satisfied with the expected/feared result.

My implementation this time is very simple and clear: take off in a dark airplane in a dark environment into the darkness - away from the "paradise" in which a comparatively "flourishing" future would have been possible.
